It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for advice on your situation, and it should not be acted on as though it were. The law changes, and a point that was accurate when it was written may not be accurate when you read it.

If something here is relevant to a decision you are about to make, ask us or ask another qualified adviser before you make it.

Using this website does not make you a client of Tru Terms. Neither does sending an enquiry through the contact form, on WhatsApp, or by email. A relationship begins only when we have agreed the scope of the work and the fee in writing and confirmed that we are acting.

Until that point, please do not send anything confidential or time critical, and do not assume a deadline is being watched on your behalf.

Tru Terms provides legal consultancy and in-house legal support. Rights of audience before the UAE courts and the Public Prosecution are exercised through the UAE-licensed advocates of our partnered law firm, whom we instruct and manage on your behalf so that you keep one point of contact throughout.

Where the site says that urgent matters are acknowledged the same day, that describes how we aim to work and is not a contractual guarantee. Nothing on this site should be relied on as a commitment to act within a particular period. If a deadline matters, tell us what it is and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet it.

The text, design, artwork, and brand marks on this site belong to Tru Terms or are used with permission. You are welcome to read, print, and share pages for your own reference or to point someone to us. You may not republish our material as your own, use our name or marks to suggest an association that does not exist, or copy the site's design.

Where we link to something outside this site, it is because we thought it was useful. We do not control those pages and we are not responsible for what they say or do.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
